Yi Chia Huang (b.1998, Taipei) holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from National Taiwan University of Arts and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in New Media Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts. Her creations focus on performance art and video installations, utilizing video production, dubbing, and self-directed, self-performed techniques. Through exaggerated and humorous performances, her works respond to the evolution of contemporary images in popular culture. She views the interaction between the audience and the artwork's viewing mechanism as a form of manipulation. Through parody and humor, she makes the artwork more accessible and easier for the audience to understand.
